The Mid-Autumn Festival, often referred to as the “Moon” or “Mooncake” Festival, is a customary Asian holiday that takes place on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. On this evening, the moon is at its brightest and fullest. It is considered the second most important holiday tradition in Asia for family reunions and is often compared to Thanksgiving for its spirit of gratitude and abundance of food.
For this specific holiday, the celebration is catered towards the younger generation and children in which we offer goodie bags with lanterns, moon cakes, and games/activities including face painting!
