The USA Dragon and Lion Dance Sports Association would like to welcome everyone to the 2023 Lion Dance National Championships at Asia Times Square in Grand Prairie, Texas. The competition soars to new heights as we watch the best teams in the country show off their moves in our traditional competition on Day 1 and our new high pole (Jongs) competition on Day 2!

ATS Charity Tournament:

Welcome to the 1st Asia Times Square Pickleball Charity Tournament ! This event will be held during Chicken n Pickle’s API Heritage Day Celebration in honor of the Month of May.

We invite you to join us in a charity game of pickleball where proceeds will be donated to The LOH Foundation. Through the foundation they have created jobs, provided scholarships annually, provided funding for a number of community non-profits and assistance in those times where there was no hope.

Let’s make this 2023 Lunar New Year one of the biggest yet, featuring music, dance, food, & art and merchandise vendors from around all of Texas! The first two weekends (Jan 6-8th & Jan 13-15th) will feature our annual VIP Opening Ceremony Banquet, food & merchandise vendors and of course, wonderful entertainment! This has always been a private invitation only event, so we are excited to open the doors to our community so you can join us for a true VIP Lunar New Year Experience. The Mid-Autumn Festival, often referred to as the “Moon” or “Mooncake” Festival, is a customary Asian holiday that takes place on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. On this evening, the moon is at its brightest and fullest. It is considered the second most important holiday tradition in Asia for family reunions and is often compared to Thanksgiving for its spirit of gratitude and abundance of food.
For this specific holiday, the celebration is catered towards the younger generation and children in which we offer goodie bags with lanterns, moon cakes, and games/activities including face painting!

AleXa (알렉사) is a K-pop singer, dancer and songwriter who grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A lifelong dancer – having taken ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, lyrical and tap lessons since she was just 18 months old, AleXa was first drawn to K-pop because of its strong performance identity. After nearly 1 million fan votes determined her the winner of online talent competition Rising Legends, AleXa signed with Korean artist agency ZB Label, and after once again beating out thousands of contestant hopefuls, was one of the 96 chosen to participate in “PRODUCE 48,” the most competitive audition show in Korea.
